With Celebrating Diversity Through Dance (CDTD), Young Dancers in Repertory brings people of different cultural and economic backgrounds together in a non-threatening way to begin building bridges among people of different origins by exploring our commonalities and differences in international dance forms. Through this series, Young Dancers in Repertory seeks:

• To provide access to dance for Brooklyn’s youth, families and general population.
• To increase cross-cultural understanding in our culturally and economically diverse community.
• To provide its teaching artists with training in various ethnic dance forms. These skills will then be utilized in other teaching assignments with Young Dancers in Repertory.
